    The pot holders are cast iron. Not worried about them. The pans under are black colored sheet metal. Wasnt sure how much heat could be applied before the finish might bubble off. But its a propane...

    I suppose you could split some bees from a swarm to add to a hive but I'm not sure why you would want to. I would hive the swarm and let them get established. If the weak hive wont raise another...

    90 degrees is almost the temperature that creamed honey will liquify. I would keep your creamed honey in a cooler and put a few on the table for display/tasting.
