    it won`t freeze, but it may drip on the custer when it is just two cold for them to take it, it gets them wet, they die.

    speed king with the fixed thermostat-- got one I`v used 30 years and it was used when I got it. it just can`t keep going!!! I have a new one still in the box for when the old one stops

    I use 10 frame stuff, but some great beekeepeers use and or used 8 frame. I don`t think the bees care!!!

    I use a lot of cypress bottom boards from brushy mountain I think they just have bottom boards in cypress. the back strip opp the entrance dry rots very quickly even with 3 coats of top quality paint...

    around 55 years ago I bought a hive from an older woman, they were in a nail keg, she had a swarm and no where to put them so she dumped the nails out and put them in the nail keg I gave her 5.00...

    1-all they can do is sting you 2- there is no such thing as sourwood honey- it` corn honey, in july stand under a sour wood tree for awile see how many bees you see - then go look in the corn...
