    If you have a frame of brood, hold it right up against the swarm. The swarm will probably move over onto it. Then put it into your hive that you have prepared for them.

    SCL Yes, this is it. You leave the scale under the hive. If you are worried about it tipping over, put blocks under the corners that Almost touch the hive. Then it could only tip a few degrees.
