    ok I just pulled a bunch of bees from a swarm that was well setup in a brick wall of a house I used a 5 frame nuc box with
    2 frames of brood the bees went in ok and were relocated I put in a queen...

    hi would anyone know how long after a queen is hatched does she go on her mating flight and how long would I expect to see eggs from here?? Do queens grow in size as they get older?

    Yep I did a split on this box about 2 months ago I did notice a lot of drone cells on the bottom of the frames back then I did a super check the other week all looked ok thanks for the advice!

    Could be possible last time I looked about 2 months back there were a few frames that had all drone eggs at the bottom of the frames.
    Is it common for this to happen to drones??
