    Im just tring to come up with a way to stop swarming, and get them to draw lot of comb. Might to have just open the brood nest. They are strong this spring.Lots of pollen coming in with alot of bees....

    I have a 4 ft tbh with 9 frames. Im thinking about trying cut down split in same box with qe on divider broad,to separate the two. So too run a 2 queen tbh . Have any body tried this?

    Did you feed them? Need to feed till you get some kind of flow. Some dead bees are normal.

    I have 4 hives and 1tbh.No treatments this year, planning on 8 or 9 hives this coming year and still try to be treatment free.

    Are you running with deeps or mediums for brood boxes? Honey frames should have white over them, the bees have capped the honey cell.

    Thanks everybody, got my son to feed all of them with 2to1 sugar water. Ill plan too put mountain camp on hives on thanksgiving.
