    Start in spring with all cleaned out brood nests, blow in HFCS to fill up comb. Shake on packages early as suppliers allow....

    Once spring really hits I doubt they will utilize the pollen patties. New pagkages about 1 quart a day. Nucs 1 1/2 quart a day.

    if you take the frames out it ensures they are going to start drawing comb off the lid of the hive. They utilize voids very quickly. then you will have a mess and lots of destroyed comb.
