    Re: Organic Based Bee Food

    What's in it and why?

I can think of a few green ingredients that add the types of proteins and nutrients that maybe missing in traditional sub formulas.

    Re: wax dipping tank design

I just started to dip, I'm thinking 280-300 degrees for 10 minutes is going to be the sweet spot.

Smaller amounts of rosin can be purchased here and I think with shipping calculated in they may be...

I agree, I should add that I think the bees jumped on drawing out fast than the "other" brand and the cell walls on the foundation had fewer flaws.
I also haven't noticed deep frames warping like...

    Re: Moving

If you really have a strong attachment to those particular bees have someone mail the queens to you. Sell the hives to a friend at a price that would reflect the condition they mail you your queens...

Re: Canadian effects of exchange rates

Are those the only two countries you can get packages from?

If they opened the border wouldn't many canadians winter there hive here or at least try to sell them off in the fall?

Re: I will never buy packages again.

This would make an interesting competition.

To make it fair for Honey4all it would have to be reduced to economics as in $100 of package bees verse $100 worth of overwintered bees.

    To make it...

  16. Re: Migratory/rental/commercial beekeeper needs and desires?

I believe the Canadian Beekeepers would like the border restrictions with the U.S. removed.
Just think of the possibilities. Cheaper packages, new pollination markets and the ability to winter bees...

On second thought it does seem a bit complicated having other Beekeepers there.

    Find a different spot.

There are thousands of better ones you can find here.
