    I have lost 4 hives so far this year and they've been infested with hive beetles. I know I lost 1 from being queenless for to long, from a failed mating flight. The others I have no clue.

    Soy Bean fields in my area don't produce. In northern Mississippi near my brothers land they actually produce a good bit of both pollen and nectar.

    Just coat with marine grade epoxy. Easily applied with a roller or brush. Can mix up a batch and coat about 10 tops, bottoms, and deep bodies before it starts to set up on me.

    The lowes in Gautier and Pascagoula carry food grade buckets. I know... I checked. Also Walmart gives me free 3 gallon buckets from the bakery, which are food grade.
