    black gum tupelo trees make dark honey grow along creeks read there range goes up north too .early spring honey sold to packers for blending good luck.

    Im glad this topic came up anybody in sga selling 16oz glass also 8oz 32oz gallberry.The honey is verry good going to sell roadside.16oz glass around here between 4.00-5.00.

    I think bees hanging on grass like they cant fly is caused by trac mites but if deformed wings by varroa.

    I have two double deeps each with a honey super.The honey supers on both hivesare almost full and some frames are completly capped.The top deep in one has many uncapped queen cells the other hives...

    You dont have to open the hive your susposed to lift the back and feel how heavy it is.Thats another one of those get the feel of it things i havent mastered yet.good luck.
