    Re: Spin Float consideration

I am with you there Jim. I have had my spin float for 5 seasons now and still wonder if I am operating it properly or at its optimum.

    Used forklift

Looking for a used fork (prefer swinger, but would also consider a bobcat, preferably with 5th wheel & mast) in the upper Midwest or California, but will consider anywhere in US. Anyone have one or...

    Re: snow storm dakotas

We were spared most of the snow here in Bismarck, a little snow but mostly rain (over 2.5"), but it is a very fine line. I've got two yards west of Mandan (5 miles west) that I couldn't get to...

So what don't you like about the Dodge Aaron?
  8. Re: Removing bees out of honey supers(large scale)?

I'm with Brian on this (although generally use Honey Robber from Mann Lake). I have used both (blower & fume pads), and a blower is much slower.

    Re: Spin float honey quality

Been there, done that Jim (used a Cowen spinner for a few years). Have had a spin float now for about 4 years. I don't have to push it too hard and always let the honey set for a day or two before...

Re: I want to send bees to N. Dakota

No one else from ND is chiming in so I guess it's up to me :).

First off, I was actually looking for a load to lease when Victor posted this, and did talk to him. Wound up getting a load from...

    Re: How's your spring????

Yeah, Chip. Spring, what spring? My load was supposed to leave CA on Sunday, obviously that got delayed. Will be at least a couple of weeks. Hopefully the moisture will pay off.

    Re: Southbound 2012

    Hummerbee.

Helps a lot to have a level loading area though. Mine is not the greatest so it is slow going in areas, esecially stacking them up and moving in position to load the truck.

    Re: Let's talk trucks

Yes. Know it would be an issue compared to my little 1 ton. Friend of mine has a F-450 with a 16' bed; took it to CA one year; really had to adjust to the turning radius with that thing (takes...

    Re: Let's talk trucks

Right, Mark. Thinking a 16' bed would allow room for fume boards or other "stuff" when pulling honey; 4 rows of honey pallets would leave a little extra room on the back.
