    New swarm caught

I caught a new swarm, didn't have a deep super to put them in, and I put them in a medium with frames drawn out. Should I buy deep to transfer them into, or what?

    Re: Problem with Captured Swarm

    Chris,
Sounds like given the number of bees you say were in the pail, most of them died from heat build up. Some small holes punched in the lid would have helped. Sorry......Blessings,

Also, how to know if I get the queen. I don't think with the bees around the tree, that I'll be able to get all them.

Thanks, I was getting ready to torch em. Not really. I just am not used to them being hot. I go out daily and sit right next to the hive with no adverse conditions.
