    Welcome from NE Kansas! I've got Carnies too. I like them a lot generally, but you'll need to keep the propolis cleaned off frames and such as much as possible. They love to really glue things down....

    I'm starting to see drones now, and I'm sure you're a few weeks ahead of us. I've read where healthy queenright hives will have 10 - 20 percent drones. It's normal. You'll see them until the girls...
