    :thumbsup: I agree . I have honey every where and I will be selling nuc's and queens in the spring . I get 30.00 a QT. for my honey . I never have to buy a sweetener again. pollination is the best...

    I love having nuc's I think I have 10 going into winter there all Tri nuc's {3 boxes}. In the summer I use them to make brood for my production hives my bee's seem to make brood faster in the nucs ....

    If your going into the brood nest it may not be a good idea I'd wait for a 60 degree day.
    Plus what are you going to do this late in the year.
    Maybe feed or OAV treatment .
    In these parts my hives...

    I say treat {I use OAV} and get all the VARROA off the bee's and let the hives get strong so they have a fighting chance.

    Taking honey from my hives is never fun . I took 3 deeps from 3 hives and put them in my SUV and it was like a Alfred hichcock movie mad bee's every where....

    What a great year I have had . I have 32 hives all strong and all but 3 are nice and heavy and all are healthy .
    I'm feeding 3 last season swarms I took 3 weeks ago.
    My fall flow was just the best...

    I have only had 1 cover ever blow off after 5 years that pretty good.
    I have wind breaks around my bee yards and I do love my bee's.
