How are your bees doing?
don't grab the cross bar on top of barrel dolly above the center piece that keeps barrel of honey from tilting over. I was unloading a barrel of honey down some ramps and when I got to the end of...
Sure thing! you may want to consider even leaving the hive on just one box of frames.
I just realized you said 2 nucs. I thought you had a double deep...looks like u have no brood in first box. maybe no queen...might ha e to combine them..
you want to have good frames with pollen and honey next to your brood/cluster this time of year. i would remove the bottom box new frames with no wax build up and place bottom box frames 8,9 & 10...
I'm not RAK but I'm sure it's 8 frames of bees. My grower requires 6 frame average at $165 might go to $170

I pollinated some alfalfa seed and had some EFB and blame it on stress of bees due to lack of forage and probably had weaker queen's.

Anyone want to share blueberry pollination pricing in the USA? I guess Canada too.

I would try to partner up with someone to meet the farmers requirement and send half of your operation to pollinate and leave half for honey. That way you can also try to build a relationship with...
Bees look good! Great pics. That honeycomb pattern still amazes me.

How is that suit holding up?
Any one else get sprayed more than usual? It year 3 with same growers but more dead bees lying dead by entrance. Also noticed some tongues sticking out not going back in on emerging brood. It also...
Sorry for your losses. We have are hives close to the 58 and interstate 5 which is close to Bakersfield and their hives stolen there 2 years ago. Is Bakersfield a considered high theft? I wonder...
The longer the sit in apples the more u are losing on honey or other pollination services. So to me time they sit does play a factor in the fee.
Nice weather in those pics. Wish we had some rain
