    Goldenrod here too!
Most blooms start in the south and move north. It looks like from the posts that Goldenrod starts in the north and moves south. LOL

Re: Do I need a new queen?

    Okay, thanks.
I think I will order a queen today. I've been wanting to try the "queen juice" for a trap. What are the ingredients?
    Thanks!

I sure would hate to squish a good queen. She has...

Re: Anyone know what tree this is?

    Hi!
The Golden Rain Tree may be alright. Some invasives are more prolific than others like Kudzu and Fireants. Others are great like
    Honey Bees and Black Locust!

Re: Anyone know what tree this is?

    Hi,
Here in Tennessee, we have Alanthis. I'm not sure if the spelling is right. The blossum and the fact that everyone thinks sumac leads
me to think it is an Alanthis. They are a non-native...

You may be on to something! I didn't know they went down in a tree. I guess I just meant that they don't naturally go out to a ten frame before they go up, but thanks for the tip. You...

Hi rongezilla, Hmmmmm. Well, I would add an empty super with empty frames below the feeder to lure them back down a little. Bees naturally want to go up like in a tree instead of out. Let's wait and...
