    Try dusting you & the kids ankles with powdered sulfur. Not sre about ticks but it will keep red bugs off so I bet it would work for ticks also. May be worth a try

    I went a different direction with the boxes I make. First of all, a good glue joint is stronger than the wood itself. I use a Kreg jig and glue with butt joints. They are NOT going to come apart....

    Beautiful property! I would not be concerned about The bees finding enough food. It will help if you make some plantings but they're pretty good at finding food give it a try
