My understanding is there is a problem with africanized bees in the southern countries. Have they mentioned that in any of the discussions?

We harvested 7 gallons of honey from 2 of our hives that we had overwintered from last year. Got up to 10 hives thru splits, swarm calls, and packages. Then, 1 split failed and 2 queens went AWOL...

Starter strips in frames have worked best for me. I do give them wire to guide them, also

Had a swarm on 8/21. Caught em & hived em. Thought all the hives were nice & roomy, so it was a surprise.
