    put your boxes together with box joints, titebondIII glue and 6d galvanized common nails then prime and paint properly and they will outlast you.

    I keep a spiral note pad in my shirt pocket and use brick position on the hive tops.
    I save the spiral note pads each year, and do refer back mostly for weather related build up, timing/treatment...

    If they are drawing comb they are finding nectar so a flow is on, that or you're feeding them.
    Drawing comb keeps lots of bees busy and in expansion mode so take advantage of...
