Thanks I'll thy some of them. But I guess I am looking for someone who produces queens that will work and last up here in South Dakota. I read to much about queens that don't last.

I'm buying nucs again this and I've got a question. Should I use only one Deep for the first season? Or sghould I start out with two Deeps?

Thanks to all who answered. I did see a queen, and I don't think its a young one, so that makes it one gone bad. and yes the season is just begining.
After winter I have one hive, about a softball size cluster, the queen is present, but she is laying more then one egg in a cell. how much effert are they worth? was a good hive last year.

Some are real old, I got them from an old beekeeper. but over the past 5 years I've been buying and replacing a lot of them. I'm a real cheapy, do I have to throw away the plactic foundation too.
I want to start rotating and melting my broodframes. what do I need to know. Also how does one melt the wax without also melting the foundation:s
