    Thanks for the advice guy's. It's been two weeks and I checked them a few minutes ago. There is a queen and it looks like she is laying in the comb as fast as they are building it.

    I had a Russian stop laying also. All the other hives are running strong. There are plenty of forage. She just stopped, no eggs no larva no brood. I requeend with a Carni.

    What is it? Once it dries out it is going to stick to your clothes like velcro. I always called it cockelbur.

    I have lots of flowering plants now, but Cockelburs seem to be their favorite. They are all over them. It is nothing to see a dozen to fifteen bees on one plant.
