    dc motor

    There are plenty of dc motors on ebay look for permanent magnet motors. I used one of the amtek dc motors (old tape drives). I run mine off of a car battery and use a 12 volt pot to adjust speed.

    I wear increasing protection as the season progresses. Usually just a veil and long sleave shirt in the spring. Buy July and August full bee suit and vail no gloves unless the bees are in a bad mood.
