    Heat gun uncapping

    It's called a top feeder. The area that is exposed to moisture should be coated with either bees wax or parafin (can be found at the grocery store in the canning section).

    I would suggest doing a full inspection on your hive, that might be the best way to figure what's going on, check for the queen, brood, etc.
