    HBH will kill the microbes in your bees making them more vulnerable to disease like EFB, Nosema AFB...

    Use citric acid/Vit C or vinegar to lower the PH closer to honey and help prevent mold.

    Try making yellow jacket traps with empty 2 L soda bottles. Or buy one at Lowes with pheromones.

    If your hives are facing north or shaded there is more of a chance to get chilled bees during cleansing flight and thoses flying days that the temp drop quickly.

    Most of the time a swarm prefers a location that is at least 50 yard away.

    Scout bees will only be looking for a location so if they find a nice location that meet their needs the swarm can move...
