    Well I checked my first hive today. The one in the back yard and they were dead. Still had honey. Meg and I think that the sub-zero temps over the last 3 to 4 weeks killed them.

    I use a full height super as the main brood chamber
    I use medium supers above that
    2 for more brood
    Then a queen excluder
    Then one or two more medium supers for honey
