    I would melt away and clean it up. Maybe not use in lotions and such thing but for every day use it is fine. I sel a bunch to blacksmiths that was manly very old brood comb.

    I have moved to 8 frames in ten frame box. I know a sec gen beekeeper that taught me that. And I love it. Please someone dope slap me if I set ant 9 frame boxes next year.

    I do this in the spring. Partly because it simpler for me. Because a lot of time it could be a dead out. If real bad cracks I use a peice of aluminum tape. Furnace tape.

    Yes it will work but do opposite corners. With mated queens. With unmated queens I would do front and back. At lease till they are mated.

    What I want to do is automate the the spin cycle of my extractor. Say 50 RPM for a min. Then 200RPM for two mins and so on. extractor is two years old.

    That is why I make a bottom board for each side of the double nuc. And use plumbers tape to fix it to the bottom box.
