I here Ione is a great place to keep bees. Syrup truck is close.
I use a Cat 216b and like it better then any bobcat I have been in. I don't have a mast on this machine but either way you don't need a side shift.

Track machines are pretty heavy-Like 1000lb more then a wheel machine. Myself I can't haul the extra 1000lb.
Jack

You would need a bigger skid steer then I am using (Cat 216b) to handle the mast and a load of bees.
Jack
I use a Cat 216B Love it. Way better machine then a bobcat! Joy sticks and a foot throttle are the way to go.
Jack
Had a 610 w/Edwards mast and tail wheel. A little underpowered but I loved it! Now have a Cat 216B w/Pallet forks. Couldn't stand it when I got it. Forks to ridged w/down preasure. Built my own style...
Looking for a barrel squeeze/gripper. The thing that picks up a drum with a forklift. Local would be cool as shipping may be a deal breaker. Will look at all.

If you are drilling bucket lids for cap plugs-I use a hole saw but put it in a drill and file the teeth a little first. Makes a clean hole and a snug fit. Otherwise the hole is a little big.
