    Re: Monsanto buys Beeologics!

I think we all can agree that none of us want to be sued by Monsanto because their drone happened to mate with our queen and our bees got their patented gene. This is what bothers me with Monsanto,...

    Re: Blowing bees from supers

Looks fine to me. Years ago I worked next to a migratory beekeepers yard on 288 south of houston. They used blowers as well, and several truck loads coming and going when they were doing it. I...

  6. Poll: Re: Should wax dipping with rosin of equipment be considered a treatment in this foru

I thought bees make propolis from rosin, and other stuff, but mostly rosin. Do you have any proof of the wax and rosin interacting? I could care less about coating the inside of the hive, it will be...

    Re: bees tearing down cells?

It is my understanding that the queen does the dirty work herself by uncapping and stinging the other queens. Correct me if I'm wrong anyone.

No. It's just for protecting the wood.

    Re: Truck Recommendations?

Diesel, 1 ton, I've driven all flavors. Dodge is nice, I do like the engine brake on the newer ones. I prefer an automatic myself now, I've never managed to kill one in a 1 ton. I have mostly driven...

Re: Air Staple Gun for Foundation Frames

I will have to try soaking the frame first, I do occasionally cause a split or crack with my stapler.

Re: How did ya'll come up with your handle?

Frazier was taken, my last name. My family started calling me "Farmer Frazier" when I started a garden beside the house. They can't believe I used it as a screen name. :D

Re: Making nuc ends with a table saw

Yeah 3/4" Plywood can be high. I have a bunch of 3/4" scrap I'm using right now but will be switching to 15/32" when I have to buy some more ( Unless 3/4" pine can beat it ) . :D

Re: Making nuc ends with a table saw
