sound like u are off to a good start, the bees need room or they will swarm u can take frames of brood from the bottom box move them up to the next box and put the open comb down in your brood box...

brood in the top box, just move it down to the bottom. Look in your boxes for eggs the queen should be in that box after moving it down put your excluder back on and your go to go for the honey flow !

I run pollen traps & u get what u pay for the sundannce may be more but will save u more in the long run of things w cleaning out legs and so on thats just my two cents

the willow is done here & I bet it is there to, I dont use patties but if u want to full hive for your pollen flow u need to time it out when u put the patties on they should eat them up & start...

Sorry I started w 10 and got a supper deal on 8 frame so some of my yards are 8 & 10 it drives me nut's, so this year all 10 for the bottom and 8's for the honey my back wins
