I know this is statistically insignificant, but I have 20 hives, 2 which have had these ventilation boxes. Neither have swarmed, came through winters well, and they've been my top producers.
Add me to the list of happy, satisfied customers. Thanks Alan.
Now.........does anyone have a mneumonic device for remembering this?

For those of you who dispense with the RRs and produce your own "cut comb honey," how do you package it?
Outside of the Spring rush, I've always found Brushy's products & service to be excellent. I placed 2 orders this March & both took weeks to ship out. Actually I think they forgot about me. One...
I think this thread has officially gone viral. Thanks for the plans D.
I made about 10 similar nuc bodies (mediums) last season and while they seem to be holding up well, they are bowing out in the middle. I think 1/2 inch plywood works much better with the bottom...

I checked out your gallery- those are the most incredible macros I've ever seen. Thanks for sharing them.
Sage advice. BTW, another consequence of the economic recession is the slowdown in building permits and inspections. That leaves alot of code officers driving around with their google maps, looking...
We've all probably felt that we've been victimized by over-zealous bureaucrats at some point, and that tends to color our impression of any government action. And rightfully so, however....

Congratulations! You did everything right and got a rapid resolution without having to go to court or hire an attorney.
Rather than throw insults to every bureaucrat alive, I have to say that...
