    I use disposable scalpel blades. Would help to heat it and bend it on a slight angle to get a flat cut between the cell and the foundation, any white you see is RJ, she already had her fill of that....

    No , Put a drop of honey on the cage, that should last her till you put her in the hive. Then the bees in the hive will feed her. Attendants don`t belong in their hive, they will accept her better...

    Let me add, if you pull the queen and take the cells and leave 2, this time of year you will get a nice honey crop. All those capped brood will emerge and no brood to feed for the next 20 or so days,...

    Swarms are not that bad, if you catch it. What I do is make nucs out of the cells, nice big fat queens,hairy legs and all. Use the whole frame or cut them out. Yes you can cut them off of plastic....

    That`s it. Make supers for them to add as they grow,stop the swarming. I made mine using DeCoates plan turned 90 degrees with ledge on the long sides. Drill 1" holes on the ends with screen for vent....
