If you plant sweet clover, I would suggest you mix white blossom sweet and yellow blossom sweet about 50-50. The white blossom is about 2 weeks later to bloom than the yellow giving you nearly twice...
I have used metal, flex, and silicone molds. Each has its advantages and all can be used successfully. Metal are the most challenging. You probably need to pour hotter- maybe 170 or so. This will...
We use both to make rolled candles. I think back in the day, AI Root sold dyed sheets and foundation both for candles.
And by the way, do not tell my wife it is easier to roll candles than to...
Does anyone know how I can get instructions on how to operate this device? And if you know, will you please tell me. Thanks, Candlaman
I have the small Maxant (15 Gal.?). Have used it for 3-4 years. LOVE it. I keep the temp about 110 while bottling but unplug it when not bottling.
I use pyrex measuring cups.

In my opinion, the only raw honey is that in the comb. If it is sold any other way, it has been "processed" some way or another. When a customer asks us if our honey is raw, we describe how we...
We use flat foundation for rolled candles.
I have almost a full case of the spoons. If you will pay the shipping from Ohio, they are yours.
If nothing else works, you could always dip to get the size you need. I do that quite often for odd size holders.
No need to use mold sealer. Just set mold on damp sponge. The tips of the molds will be damp and cool and the wax will harden before it runs out of the wick hole.
We sell 6" for $2, 8" for $2.50, 10" for $3, and 12" for $3.50. These are poured and sold as singles and unpackaged. Dipped pairs are higher.
We charge $25.00 and pack the set in a 10 inch cube box filled with foam peanuts. They are really a nice gift and can be easilly shipped.
We sell ours at $3.50 each retail. This is 100% beeswax. Sounds like they were underpriced if pure beeswax.
Would you explain "foundationless frames"? I assume they are just a wooden frame with no foundation. I have tried that when I have gotten behind wiyh swarm collection and ended up with one whale of...
Hi Chef. I use a damp sponge under the mold. Wick the mold using a pin stuck thru the wick at the bottom. When you pour, hold the mold down on the sponge. The cool sponge causes the wax to harden...
We have been making and selling beeswax ornaments for 20 years. Sales of them are like everything else--up and down. One show they will sell well, the next not at all. For us, they are a good...
Try EBAY. I have good luck there.
I keep about 20 hives. I currently have a 4 frame tangential extractor. I find that extractor keeps up with my uncapping speed. I think uncapping is the slow down for small operations. I am...
I order from Betterbee all the time. Very nice folks to work with.
