    Robbing on mating nuc

Made up nucs five days ago and have been fine until today. Activity around two of them. Today is the day that they are due to emerge from cells, would that make any difference?

    Re: More questions

Even with schedules, you can end up with queen less mating nucs. It all depends on pick ups and quantities. I think I will use mini nucs and I will just newspaper combine over a queen right nuc. I...

I did not think that banking queens, was good for the queens. Is this so especially prior to shipping?

    More questions

So I was able to sell all my extra cells, much more quickly than I thought. Everyone that bought cells, wanted to preorder queens for next year. I have a queen castle and 8 mini nucs made, and have...

    Re: Queen cell timeline help

Thanks. I have been reading and taking it all in. I used my strongest colony and primed cells with RJ. I hope that they all do well. My goal is to sell queens and cells locally along with nucs.

Thanks. I actually have had offers for a few at $5. I only need 8-10 so I probably will cell the rest.

    Queen cell timeline help

Grafted on the 17, so cells should have been canned on the 22. Making the move to nucs on the 26. However I checked them today and they are capped. Should I move everything up a day?

Hopefully they are better to view. Since this is my first time doing this, does it look like a good amount of royal jelly for being after 24 hours?

The cups seem to have a good amount of royal jelly. This is 24 hours after graft.

    Thanks to all of you.

Just checked on my grafts, and I had 20 out of 24 takes. My third attempt. First time I did them dry with no luck. Second time I used a drop of water in each cup to prime them, also no luck. This...

    Caucasians

I have read about them but have read conflicting information. Some say they are swarmy and others say not. Calm but can turn mean. Wanted to know from those who have them the pros and cons.
