This is my first year using the mountain camp style so I am aitches to find out what happens. I didn't get any honey for my self this year so I don't need for my girls starving to death.;)

I checked my hives on May 29, and my hives had honey on about 5 frames in the body and none in the super. So will they get to the supers?

Will a swarm of bees produce honey in supers the first year? If yes, how much?

I have excluders on all my hives and one super on all. I haven't had the bees work in the supers yet. I have yet to find out if they work. I hope it isn't keeping them out.
