    It's actually better for the bees even if they are very gentle. The smoke will go away and the bees can return to normal sooner than the alarm pheremone will leave the hive.

    Make sure you can control the temperature outside of the incubator also. If the temperature of the room it is in fluctuates more than five degrees or so it will cause the incubator to go up or down....
