Re: Trade wax for pine tree resin anyone?

Get a price with shipping to your home and I'll pay the same for 100# Rosin shipped to me.

Provided it's processed Gum Rosin from a reasonable source

We could take your word for it or you could post a photo of the equipment in use as each ingredient is added. Don't forget to tell us which formula we are watching being made.

  7. Re: How much would you pay to have you hive body wax dipped?

I think you'd have better luck selling assembled and dipped boxes.
If you bought in bulk you could get them for $9.00 or $10.00 and offer them for $15.00-$16.00. You'd make 5 bucks and offer a...

Re: Dipping and titebond (or any/most?) glue

I did a small test with a few pieces of scrap wood. The glued and the dipped pieces held well, the dipped and then glued not so much even though I clamped them.

Re: Where to buy small amount of HFCS?

Inverted Sugar does a good job of keeping your mixture soft and allowing it to soften up consistently at hive temp.

It's easy enough to make in the...

This has some limited information on

    Ca/p
    K

They site some studies mention of ascorbic acid perhaps that's why it's found in addition to citric acid in some recipes.

  14. Re: Trying to rear a new queen bee in Florida in January

Maybe Mid February in your area? If there are commercial Beekeepers near you (I'd think so) they should be feeding heavy now and that may up your odds.
