    I have pulled about 60lbs so far and see lots more. Sold most of it in the first 24hours! Hide a few jars in the pantry....the overall flow has been real good so far.

    I put some free tyvec house wrap on the ground and then covered it with the leftover "mulch" that the power company left after trimming the trees along the power lines.

    I add the starter bees with the graft right above the excluder. I also put all capped brood below the excluder and open brood pollen and honey in the top with the grafts.

    I dont think its a good idea. A sunny day in my hoop house can get the temps into the 80-90* range even when outside temps are in the 20-30* range. The bees would fly out to cold doom.

    Mixing starter hive and finisher

    If I make a starter hive from more than one hive, 24 hours after adding the graphs can this "mixed" starter hive be added to the finisher? This part of the queen rearing has me very puzzled.
