    I sometimes use a sugar spray for minor inspections. Never in cold weather. If I need to do a deep inspection, smoke is the best tool.

    We use a stainless steel kitchen strainer from Walmart. It is about the same hole size as window screen. Works great on 5 gallon bucket.
