just figure out a way to dry it ........ one idea (of many) , try this : get a washing machine box ,cut side off , use side to make the other end to the box, lay on the side that is open ...... put...

well . i still have hives adding weight from continuous bloom soybeans ... and maybe cotton .

they do spray cotton a lot

they do not work the bloom very much .. they work the small nectar orifice(s) on the underside of the leaf .... sometimes this spot can produce a droplet that can be seen ... and you can taste the...

1) what are "follower boards " ,what is their purpose and how are they used ??

2) what are "slatted racks" , what is their purpose and how are they used ??

i hate to admit this ..... i brought out a bunch of ice and i put a cube of ice on each landing boards ...... they loved it

i use queen excluders with both a hole drilled in some of my honey supers , and i use imirie shims on some ,both on some ....... i do not close off the bottom entrance (per Imirie's...

queen excluder PLUS imirie shim or holes in the honey supers

... i was really hoping someone would reply to this thread so i could also see how they do ...... maybe the company you are considering buying them from will give you a contact of someone who has...

the strong hive has a super on top ....... do i put the newspaper on top of the super or what ?

actually i have 4 weak hives ...... can you do ,say, a triple combine ? how ?

i know , .... that is what i have used .. BUT , it is time consuming ....... this is a lot quicker

got this from a long time beekeeper ......set toward middle of the brood box ........ pull and cut out anything your bees build in the lower 1/2 every 15 days .......464

thought about moving it too ....... just hadn't decided ...... but sounds like good advice

the bees in this trapout have moved comfortably into their new hive ....... however , they have destroyed (emptied ) both frames of brood and torn up the queen cells that i had originally put into...

that piece of log is not that big ..... get a couple of strong backs to put it in the back of a truck and haul it home to deal with it there ....... then , chainsaw or you couls try log splitter...

... might need to gear up for traveling ....... that is what i am seriously considering for next spring , ...... it would be a short hop for me to work spring willow ....... little longer hop for...
