    I started last year fully expecting to loose 1/2 the hives, so i will maintain those expectations and anything better than that i will consider a bonus

    Colorado hasn't seen much rain, lots of fire, but the bees seem to be finding nectar. As of right now, 5/6 of my hives have 2 deeps filled, just added honey supers.

    So had one of my hives go queenless quite a few weeks ago, and let them raise there own queen. During this weeks inspection found eggs!!!!! Hooray!

    So, I think i got a pic of her, pretty sure...

    9 5/8 is the box size, 9 1/8 is the frame size. the frames are supposed to be smaller than the box
