:) Newman's Ridge eh? :)
I like whatever lives through the spring, summer, fall, winter and survives my attention. The bees I have are a melting pot of everything passing through our area in the...

Dad raised some pretty big hogs in Reynolds County Mo but nothing that big :)

Wish I had checked the forums earlier... I was in Portland yesterday after spending Friday/Saturday in Newport... :( bummer.... Now in Idaho headed for Wyoming....
Ours all went down the drain this year.... We've had several deadouts and have started feeding. No honey this year. What they had built up in the supers by the middle / end of June was gone by last...

It's the same with most the hives I have as well. I'm going to have to start feeding next week and arrange for them to be fed while I'm gone because of how everything has dried up over here.. Rain...

Almost...

Having to working bees @ 95+ this year - LOVE IT!
I like to leave enough honey for the bees but am not adverse to feeding Sugar if/when needed - one can't always figure the weather :).
HFCS isn't available around here that I am aware of (but...
