    I just use a top entrance and a piece of 2" blue Styrofoam above the bars. My hives also have a full screened bottom. It works great for me.

    I use the #195 New Cold Knife from Kelley Bees....

    I use the #195 New Cold Knife from Kelley Bees. It has a 10" very sharp serrated blade. Combine that with a scratcher for the low spots. I wouldn't think of using anything else.
