If there are a lot of cracks and openings try covering the whole area with black plastic and sealing the edges.
Pull the nails and lift the whole sheet of plywood.
Thanks Chris and Maxant ! It's a high quality hat. I'll be sure to wear it to our local bee keepers association meeting.

I used a (home made) bee vac to catch a swarm on a chain link fence. It sucked them into a hive ready to set in place in my apiary.
I too have noticed bees working henbit had a red/orange spot on their head. If you look in the flower you can see a small red dot in the top of the "hood". It grows wild here.
Remember, You get what you pay for, (or less).
If you would learn to write proper sentences with punctuation and capital letters maybe I could understand your meaning !
My feeders are simply a piece of plywood the same size as hive body it is going on. I use at least 1/2" plywood so it doesn't sag. In it I cut a hole (or two or more) that a fruit jar lid (ring) will...
Thanks for the replies. I got up this morning and made a bee vac. I adjusted the flow so that it would just suck up the bees. It worked great. The bees are now in a hive in my apiary.

I do some custom wood working and might be able to help you. Please be more specific about what you want.
Dave
Dave, I do custom woodworking. If I had the dimensions of your 5-frame box, I could build you one or more.
Have a Good Day.

Put the cappings in a (knee high) nylon stocking. Nylon stockings will stretch a lot and hold quite a bit of cappings. Tie the top and hang it over a container to catch the honey. Leave it for...
I voted.
Good Luck !
Order the frames of your choice. Have them shipped to me, or some one closer to you. I (or some one closer to you) will assemble and wire them, then ship them to you. Shipping assembled frames will...
Has anybody had any experience taking comb honey through airport security? My wife will be traveling to see our grandkids soon and I would like to send them some comb honey. I doubt if it would...
Here in north arkansas it gets so dry that it is hard to get an electric fence to work. I spread used roofing metal under my electric fence and tied it directly to the ground post of the charger. ...
An old fashioned hardware store is more likely to have it than the big chain stores. I paid $1.07 per foot for two foot wide X 1/8" hardware cloth, in Batesville Arkansas.
