    The majority of the cells that had eggs and 1-2 day old larvae were located on the bottom of the frame. So I'm not surprised that's where the queen cells are located.

    Memorial weekend I had to strengthen a failing hive started from a package. I re-caged the queen added 2 frames of brood and bees that covered them into the hive. Now the hive is recovering nicely....
