This is my 3rd year beekeeping and I am still learning. Lost both my first 2 hives over the first winter. Rehived new packages the next spring and both wintered well and built up nicely this spring....
I just went out and spread it out a little bit with a twig, and didn't see a queen, but maybe I should look again. If there is one there should I put her back in?
We finally had a warm day here in the Puget Sound area and the girls were out and active today. I've been giving them syrup for the last couple days and they are taking it. They are also bringing...

As a first year beekeeper I stepped up and explained it all to them. :D
How many tablespoons is that? :D
