Oh Ive got several, not sure if I would call them dumb but wasnt ever sold on their stated effectiveness after using them.
Screened bottom boards-converted to solids
Honey Bee Healthy-poured down...
Try them both:double deeps on one and a single on the other. I've got combinations of everything right now. All mediums, deep/shallows deep/double medium. The goal is to move to double deeps in at...
I just knocked back a Foster's. Does that trump a movie?
So it's considered a treatment free hive until there is a noted problem and then its treated? Isn't that what the majority of us do anyways
Watch them for a couple of days, but I would suspect that if you installed them around noonish, you would probably see pollen coming in by nightfall. I'm around 700 miles south of you, but mine will...
The biggest downside here on feeding pollen subs in the Spring/Summer is SHB. I wouldn't bother right now as there is plenty of natural pollen available and they will probably bypass it anyways.

Your local recycling center in the glass bin.
Plenty of propolis and a brick :)
I use a liberal application of BT that Sundance, a member here, sells. Works like a charm.
Drifting will more than likely happen. A few years ago I installed 4 packages at once-went to check on the queen release a week later and had one booming super hive and three other nearly empties. In...
You probably already have a good drone population-I had capped drone brood the 3rd week of February. Im personally waiting for consistently warmer days before I start splitting-probably around the...

You can adjust it for a good snug fit. Works very well if you have a drill press.
I received mine in the mail today too.
I just have to remember that it comes out before I sit in the truck. Mine politely punched a nice hole in my seat so now I put in the truck toolbox as Im getting ungeared.
We'll see if it clears
A piece of burlap or like material, stapled down the middle divider works really too.
First time I cracked a grin reading this thread. Thankye
