Any news on when Fischer's Bee Quick will be available? I know it's too late for this season, but I'd like to have a supply for next year if it's available.
Any update on when quantities will be available from other suppliers? We'd like to purchase a gallon so we don't go through this again!
Ronnie Simon has rented Cervelli's field over on King Street so there are still people who need pollination services in Hanover (thankfully!).
We discussed this last week at the Plymouth County...
Really - I live the next town over and I hadn't heard about this. Good news! There are several active beeks in our club from Hanover.
Yep, I just came over from there, it's working fine.
02341 Snowdrops blooming 2/24/08
Ooops - sorry, Dave! Please check you PM's.....
How do you fix an entry there? The tool tip said if the bloom wasn't listed to just begin to type and one would be created, but it didn't work, now Wild Apple has a bloom date of 2/20/08 in zipcode...
Right now I'm printing my cards on the non-perf card stock on my own printer (this is for my Pilates practice, we haven't come up with a bee logo and apiary name yet). Since I'm barely making it in...

Conga-rats! My new niece who was born on Nov. 1st, she is also an Isabelle, spelled a bit differently. That seems to be the 'it' name this year! ...
My Bee Culture is always late, American Bee Journal is marginally better. It isn't the magazine in my case, it's the Post Office. Many of my magazines arrive very late. The PO claims it's the...
Those rings are beautiful, what a nice project! I think I would take it to a jewelers, too, to have them fix it, rather than re-melt it down. And what a great use of broken gold jewelry! :)
Pinetree is always the first catalog for me, too. I've ordered quite a bit from them, they have good prices on seed potatoes. I also order lots from Johnny's and The Cook's Garden. Last year I...
Since I'm not growing humans I hardly think it's pertinent.
Would you like to see the soil analysis they did? It wasn't just for NPK. I know enough about gardening and soil to know those are the primary but by no means the only nutrients needed to grow...
I agree with Mabe. I had mine tested last fall and found that my soil was fine except for nitrogen - so that's all I added this year. I knew all that soil building with compost and manure was doing...
I was 11, listening to WRKO on my transistor radio, not knowing someday I would be a beekeeper :)
What's really scary is I can remember things from almost 50 years ago. Boy, that can make you...
Has anyone seen this trailer yet? It looks like it will be an interesting film. The film maker is trying to get funding to finish it.
Hobie, that's really neat, I like it!
And they'll live to breed - or to sue!
A zippered hoodie would be nice :)
I think we may all be out of luck this year, we haven't seen a notice about the sale yet.
Here in Massachusetts we have mandatory yearly inspections, and I know one of the criteria are the headlights, that they work, and that they're aimed properly. I don't think they check the latter at...
As far as headlights go yes, they are brighter, and if the vehicle is higher, they're not aimed properly for those lower on the road. I drive a two-wheel Ranger, it's not the highest pickup out...
