    Re: Making Sense of Water

At least the water isnt being injected into gas and oil formations as frac fluid. That water is perminantly removed from our atmosphere.

Re: Queen found in empty Deep

You most likely had a hive with 2 queens and number 2 just got the boot.
  4. Re: Easiest type of cell builder for a beginner

What's the best ratio of feed? 1:1 Plus pollen patty? Or do you go a little thicker on the sugar? How often do you rewet the sponge? Every day?

    Re: My verroa smoker

Not sure it's just a sheet rolled into a tube shape. A hose clamp keeps it in that shape and snug but still movable on the hap eat gun. I treat my TBH through a bottom feeder hole and it works better...

I should have mentioned I'm making a Melomel so I have rasberrys mixed in. I put one crushed tab in pitched about 20 hrs later.

    Re: My verroa smoker

It's a straight 3/4 female connector(solder joint) one end and male pipe thread on the other. Come to think of it it may be 1" pipe on the other whatever a garden hose thread is. I just tig welded a...

    Re: My verroa smoker

The fitting is your standard 3/4 to male pipe thread. A garden hose cap fits on good enough to seal. I would say a 1/4 bleed hole is what I have ( 3 smaller holes). If I have it apart I will take...

    Re: virus?

You should treat regardless but if you had a big robbing episode bees out front could be casualties. You have an entrance reducer on?

K-wing. I would treat again for varroa with oxalic like above poster noted.
  20. Re: Pulled Queen off of hive. What to do now?

You could also cage her and set the cage on top bars of a hive you tink may be queenless. See if the bees stick to it like velcro (balling) or walk around on it happy and can be moved off easily....

    Re: Frame saver extracting.

This is not to repair a frame.
It is so a broken frame can be run through the commercial extracting process one more time before it is culled.
