That's quite a statement! I believe the evidence, and the evidence shows it's not that safe and the mites become resistant to it.
  2. Re: Treatment free intervention for a varroa infested hive

I'm on the fence about this. At one time, there was no such thing as "treatment-free stock." You worked with what you had. This is the route I still want to go. Work with what I have around me and...

Sour grapes, Harley. Going down this road never ends well.

    Re: Crazy experiment

I would classify bees as bugs. So maybe you don't want to put that stuff in the hive.

    Re: hive bodies

I'm in the middle of writing a box review from the various manufacturers. One noticeable difference with Shastina's box design is how they handle the top pin.

  19. Re: Just curious as to why my latest removal video was deleted

Yes, there is that aspect of it Graham. In those cases, I've explained that to the individual in private correspondence and they are usually understanding about it. If I've gone to all the work to...

Appears a lot of bees are going to die. Looks like you're cutting out honeycomb with bees on it and putting it in a bucket. I'd suggest you either vac or brush the bees off the comb before putting it...
