Installing the first two nucs this Saturday. Heavy feeding (top feeder) with no big nectar flow going on. 5 frame medium nucs. Planning to put top box with nuc brood, empty foundation-less bottom...
Using Walter T. Kelly Foundationless frame with comb guide. Applied beeswax to the guide, should be good to go yes? Others like these? Success with them?

Been pouring over a ton of information. Trying to nail down the best hive to go with. I like the Warre concept a lot, but, most of the Russian suppliers in my region only offer nucs. So, no dump...
