Re: 2 queens in one hive?

Your not a bumbling bee keeper. I think you where just to quick on the draw is all. You probably had a mated queen that just wasn't quick to take off. I went out and bought a queen because I didn't...

    Re: Used stuff?

What is he treating with teramyacin? If he has AFB he should of gotten it inspected by the state and the equipment should have been burned and buried on sight. Again just my opinion.

Re: superseding or getting ready to swarm.

I think they will swarm I'd split the old queen some nurse bees and a few frames of brood if you want to artifically swarm. Just my opinion though. Save the good queen.

    Re: Why no pollen?

Their not going to bring in pollen if they aren't tending brood. Are you sure you got the queen? Maybe they are just adjusting to the new hive.

Re: Between Queen Emerging and Laying

I was told by an old beekeeper that if they are bringing in Pollen then there is a 99% chance there is a queen in the hive. I've never been queenless yet though. I am sure going to test the theory...

Re: 1 split 2 swarms later, what to do

I am surely no expert but did you inspect the supercedure cells you left was one open and the other damaged. Could the third queen have been out on her mating flight. the first swarm was the old...
